Thanks to the efforts of our team of volunteers, at the end of June 2018, a needs assessment conducted by Project C.U.R.E. was conducted in four state medical institutions of Ukraine. One of the members of the board of directors of Project C.U.R.E. came to Ukraine. Mr. Bruce Schroffel.

During one week, a representative of Project C.U.R.E. visited the declared hospitals to assess their condition and needs. Met and talked with the management and medical staff of these medical institutions.

In general, Mr. Bruce Schroffel was deeply moved by the attitude of Ukrainian doctors and nurses towards their duties. He especially emphasized that despite the huge needs and lack of funding from the state, Ukrainian doctors are trying their best to provide urgent care to patients.

A comprehensive assessment of needs was carried out in four hospitals of Ukraine:

Municipal non-profit enterprise Kyiv City Medical Center "Academy of Human Health" of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (KMDA)

Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 2 (burn center)

Subsidiary enterprise "Kyiv City Sanatorium-Resort Balneo Clinic of Trade Unions of Ukraine"

State rehabilitation institution "All-Ukrainian Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation of the Disabled"

Thanks to this assessment, we were able to focus on expert opinion on what equipment and consumables are necessary to improve the medical services provided within the framework of our charity project "Health". Medical institutions have requested biometric medical equipment and many different consumables. This needs assessment served as an excellent opportunity to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the declared medical facilities.

We thank the entire team of Project C.U.R.E. and we hope for a quick supply of medical humanitarian aid to strengthen health care in Ukraine.
