Chernihiv region receives medical humanitarian aid from Project C.U.R.E.
This is the second regular emergency medical humanitarian aid shipment from the American charitable foundation Project C.U.R.E. within the framework of emergency medical aid to the country affected by the war.
In connection with hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, there are many wounded, people with gunshot and shrapnel wounds, as well as fire victims who need emergency medical care. Our team of volunteers, from the very beginning of the Russian military aggression, tried to send humanitarian medical aid to the Chernihiv region, which was one of the first to be attacked by Russia.
We planned to deliver this cargo to the Chernihiv Regional Hospital, but unfortunately the main bridge leading to the city of Chernihiv was destroyed. Thanks to quick communication with Andrii Linnyk, head of the Chernihiv Oblast Health Department, a decision was made to send this cargo to a hospital in the north of Ukraine, Kozeletska Intensive Care Hospital. This hospital is located near the war zone in the city of Kozelets. Many wounded soldiers and civilians are treated in this hospital. And this humanitarian cargo is now really helping Ukrainian doctors to save their lives.
