Today, our team of volunteers, as part of the emergency medical aid to Ukraine from the American charitable foundation Project C.U.R.E., together with other medical equipment for the combat zone, handed over SAM Junctional Tourniquets to front-line medics to control bleeding and immobilize the pelvis. This help to wounded Ukrainian soldiers is simply invaluable now.

BUILT FOR STABILIZATION

The SAM Junctional Tourniquet (SJT) is designed to stop hemorrhage and bleeding in the inguinal or axillary region. If standard tourniquets are not used, the SJT can be applied in less than 25 seconds, stopping bleeding and immobilizing pelvic fractures.

SAM Junctional Tourniquets meet medical needs during combat to stop bleeding from severe wounds.

Our Ukrainian team, through volunteers, handed over these bundles to medics on the front lines.

The medics of the military units are immediately trained to quickly provide medical aid to wounded soldiers.

These are the medics who every day heroically help wounded soldiers under fire from enemy forces.

The guys said that they took these photos during a short break from shelling. They are also very grateful that the American community is helping Ukraine in many ways. This is not only material support, it is also the realization that there are many people with them who want to fight for freedom and democracy around the world.
